Promoting Social cohesion among diverse cultural groups in Western Bahr el Ghazal state and its neighbouring states
On Friday, August 15, 2025, we received our donors UNDP and UNESCO team head by Country Director, Madam Yayoi and the Ministry of Culture, Museums and National Heritage team head by Hon. Malok Majak Malok the Undersecretary. We also welcome by HE. Molana Emmanuel Primo Okello, the governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State. In his remark governor appreciated UNESCO support in promoting social cohesion to the people of Western Bahr el Ghazal State through AYADA South Sudan. HE. Molana Emmanuel Primo Okello, highlighted the gaps in supporting construction of cultural centers in Wau, Raga and Jur River Counties. The UNESCO Country Director reaffirm the commitment to work with the people of Western Bahr el Ghazal State in promoting cultural activities.
